Drive Building

Pictured in the beginning of the video are a few short clips of my previous dog Tony so you can see what I’m about to show you can evolve into. It’s not enough for my dog to just like the ball. I need my dog to have tunnel vision for the ball. I want my dog to dream about the ball and be completely obsessed with it. I can’t understate the importance of establishing the absolute mind blowing satisfaction that Elliot feels when he has the ball in his mouth. All of my future exercises are built upon the understanding that a good rep earns him the ball, and that me giving him the ball is actually rewarding for him. So while this may seem like a simple game, it’s truly the most important part of my entire training process.
